Based on http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/brimsdownfc/news/?filter=user&fid=661160 I added the {{ connected contributor}} template to Talk:Brimsdown F.C.. If you are not the "Lee Okugbeni" mentioned on that page and have no connection to the football club, please remove the template and add a disclaimer to Talk:Brimsdown F.C. explaining why you have such a similar username, and consider changing your username. Instructions for changing your username can be found at Wikipedia:Username policy. If you are this person, there is no need to change your username, but you do need to abide by Wikipedia's conflict of interests guidelines. davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 16:16, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
There are a few ways in which people with a conflict of interest can make contribution to Wikipedia:
Editors who have contributed heavily to an article or to an AFC draft that is later turned into an article are encouraged to add the {{ connected contributor}} template to the article's talk page. It typically goes right below any wikiproject-related templates but above any actual discussions.
For more information, read the conflict of interest link above. davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 17:54, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Re:
I am an academy scout at a high profile club and I get calls from players, clubs, agents, parents all the time. I use wiki to look up the clubs they've played at and the league they are in (however seemingly obscure someone else may feel they are). I can use other sources but wiki is the only source that has one click movement around the leagues and teams and where they promote to. I'm not the only scout/agent that does that. What a football supporter/statistician/enthusiast/archivist etc may feel irrelevant has a more practical application to someone like me. Brimsdown themselves used wiki when deciding on which leagues were reasonably available to them. the inclusion of Brimsdown FC is part of that because of the league in which they play. 77.99.152.24 (talk) 19:37, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brimsdown F.C.:
Perhaps it's time to start a specialized web site using Wikipedia's software that will be a "Wikipedia of British Football". Or perhaps expanding The Football Wiki or The Football Database Wiki instead. davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 23:13, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
