An article you recently created,
Jack Berry (American Musician), is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a
WP:UPE or
WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (
verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to
draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's
general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself.

Hi Thanks for the input
This is my first article, so I'm sorry if I've made mistakes. From what I've read, you have three main issues that need fixing? One is I have a conflict of interest or have been paid. I've been a fan of Jack's since he was a kid in the Garbage-Men band and they were on NPR Science Friday. We are not friends or business partners. Is that disqualifying? How can I possibly correct that?
Also, 'information that can't be referenced should be removed'. I have worked really hard to collect as many reference links from the info I looked up. How many more do I need to qualify? Should every sentence have a citiation? I used other musician articles as guides, many of them local, and tried to follow their lead and templates as examples.
The other problem seems to be notability. From my work on the article, he seems to be referenced in several other Wikipedia articles, and in a Google search, his articles ,videos, etc. take up two pages. He has national recognition and media coverage. I've gone through all citations and links out and they seem to fit. Maybe it is the quality of the references? Can you be more specific?
Also, 'do not move into mainspace yourself'. In the article how to move out of sandbox, I followed the instructions as decscribed in the article. What did I do incorrectly here?
I worked really hard on this article for weeks.
Thanks for any more detailed information on making the article better.

Your recent article submission to
Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Ingenuity was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject
qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published,
reliable,
secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the
guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see
technical help and learn about
mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please remove all inappropriate external links from the body of the article (Youtube, Spotify, Amazon).
Notability is not inherited; just because their band is notable does not mean that each artist is.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to
