Alert for India/Pakistan/Afghanistan related articles

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Note - I'm leaving this alert on multiple other editors to make sure everyone is aware that editor behavior is closely watched on these articles. Vengeance 01 ( talk) 16:18, 13 February 2021 (UTC) reply

Please stop incorrectly formatting based_on content

Hi there, please stop incorrectly formatting content in the |based_on= parameter of film infoboxes. Here you neglect to use the {{ based on}} template, which wants the title of the previously published work, and the name of its writer. Here, you have gone out of your way to remove the correctly formatted content and replace it with incorrectly formatted content. I would hope that most people encountering a filled-out template like that would think that maybe the person who put it there knew what they were doing. You really should familiarise yourself with the Template:Infobox film instructions as well. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb ( talk) 14:02, 11 March 2021 (UTC) reply

Information icon Hello, I'm Tbhotch. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Misha B seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm Suneye1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ajith Kumar‎, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SUN EYE 1 12:34, 9 May 2021 (UTC) reply

Actor names in film plot sections

Please don't put actor names in film or television article plot sections. It's considered redundant to the cast section just below. See WP:FILMPLOT for further information. Ravensfire ( talk) 23:14, 27 August 2021 (UTC) reply

"Film actor"

Please stop adding that to every article you find. Just enough to mention he is an actor, eg: Karthi is an Indian actor who appears in Tamil language films. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:20, 13 October 2021 (UTC) reply

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Pammal K. Sambandam, you may be blocked from editing. Stop adding cast names to plot section. You will end up blocked if you continue. Enough of this. Ravensfire ( talk) 14:52, 7 January 2022 (UTC) reply

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Boys (2003 film).
