On 11 September 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sister exchange, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that in some societies, your spouse's sibling is also your sibling's spouse? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sister exchange. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, Sister exchange), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Thank you, Ле Лой, for contributing this well researched article to the EN wiki. Your work on Māori phonology is also impressive. I see you have parallel versions of both of these in Russian. As you have written over 600 new articles on the RU wiki, perhaps you will now be able to devote a little more time to writing in English. We look forward to more!-- Ipigott ( talk) 09:25, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

I'm almost finished clearing up Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/20240516 (which basically involved removing all edits that this user made that were a)still here and b) involved any prose) and I've noticed that they're much more active on ruWiki. Obviously, enWiki behaviour has no bearing on any other Wiki, and a lot of people end up committing copyright violations in their second language that they wouldn't dream on doing in their first, but would you mind doing a spotcheck of the contributor's ruWiki edits to see if there's an issue? I'd do it myself but I don't speak Russian, and I wouldn't know the process to remove them if I did. Thanks, and if there does turn out to be an issue, sorry for dumping it on you. I was just reviewing Standard Swahili language and saw that it was created by the above user, but when I clicked through, it redirected to your user page. A doppelgänger alt accounts is allowed, but you should refrain from editing on it unless you're using it permissibly in another way (such as for security on public networks), in which case, you should declare your use of that account on your user page. voorts ( talk/ contributions) 04:23, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
