2021–22 FA WSL

Information icon Hi Kbast123, if my edit summary did not clear up any confusion as to why Tameka Yallop was only awarded one goal during the Leicester City game, here as some further sources to help your understanding. BBC match report, Leicester match report, BBC goalscorers table, Flashscore goalscorers table, Tameka Yallop's soccerway profile. The social media post you have attempted to use as a citation is anecdotal at best. As you can see in the video itself and I previously pointed out in the edit summary, the goal has been credited as a Levell own goal because the Yallop shot was off target: it comes back off the crossbar and hits the goalkeeper in order to go in. See Opta defintions if it is still unclear. Thanks Hjk1106 ( talk) 12:29, 29 September 2021 (UTC) reply

Disambiguation link notification for November 14

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2021–22 Chelsea F.C. Women season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pernille Harder. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

As per WP:BRD, please discuss these changes. Why do you think it is correct to list players who were capped as opposed to called-up? Being called-up is an active player. -- SuperJew ( talk) 07:20, 5 December 2021 (UTC) reply

Edit summary

Information icon Hello. Thank you for
your contributions to
Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled " Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! -- Mango från yttre rymden ( talk) 15:20, 18 December 2021 (UTC) reply
