Return from hiatus
Hello Justwatchmee. Thank you for adding the references to
Welspun Energy. Can I ask what drew your attention to this article, since it doesn't seem like you've edited it before now?
Also, just wondering what inspired you to suddenly get involved with various AfD discussions in the past month or so, after not making any edits for about four years? Regards,
MrsSnoozyTurtle 03:26, 2 April 2023 (UTC)reply
Hello
Justwatchmee. Could you please respond to my questions above? It seems that you have made other edits in the meantime. Regards,
MrsSnoozyTurtle 22:09, 5 April 2023 (UTC)reply
@
MrsSnoozyTurtle Because I was on Wikipedia and felt like editing the page and the AfD process is a mindful way to spend my day.

I have the same question, Justwatchmee. You participate a lot in AFD discussions and quote policies that an account with only 100 edits are unlikely to know about, much less know the abbreviations for.
What accounts did you edit with previously? If there were previous accounts, you should list them on your User page so that it's understood that you are not a returning blocked editor. Thank you. LizRead!Talk! 04:34, 24 June 2023 (UTC)reply
Hello @
Liz I do participate in AFD discussion as I enjoy the AFD process as a mindful way to spend my day. The abbreviations to policy are mentioned within many of the AFD discussions with links to their descriptions. Should I be doing something differently?

Your recent article submission to
Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Herpetogenesis was:
This submission appears to
read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a
neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of
independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's
verifiability policy and the
notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please remember that this is an encyclopedia, not a promotional press release. Try to clean up wording such as:
"The firm makes capital investments and takes an active role in building up each company."
"Led a show of VC support"
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to
Draft:General Catalyst and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and
may be deleted.
@
Herpetogenesis Thank you for your comment and review. I've made the changes and a few more sources.

AfD comment
Hi, I just saw your comment on this AfD
[1] and noticed that you posted it above the relisting notice. I didn't think it my place to cut and paste another editor's comment, but thought you might want to know so you could move it to the correct spot below the notice. Cheers!

DYK for Frank (company)
On
13 October 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Frank (company), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that student-aid startup Frank claimed to have 4.25 million users, but is alleged to have had fewer than 300,000? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at
Template:Did you know nominations/Frank (company). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (
here's how,
Frank (company)), and the hook may be added to
the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the
Did you know talk page.
Your recent article submission to
Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Robert McClenon was:
This draft's references do not show that the subject
qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
in-depth (not just brief mentions about the subject or routine announcements)
Make sure you add references that meet all four of these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about
mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This draft is written from the viewpoint of the company, focusing on what the company says about itself.
Corporate notability is based on what independent
reliable sources have written about the subject.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
