Hi!
Not sure if I'm formatting this message correctly, so bear with me. I see your point on the crime statistics. It hasn't been substantiated since it was put up. As the Town Constable, I feel confident that the numbers are in fact accurate, I just wanted that extra bit of verification which Wikipedia of course encourages. I read your message. Is your objection that the source is from a profit making entity?
Thank you,
Jordan Ross, Constable Laughlin Township www.laughlinconstable.org — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jordan Clements Ross ( talk • contribs) 01:21, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Hi there,
Thanks so much for your informed and very friendly advice! I have been frustrated because while I was researching pages on other organisations for guidance I'd seen much worse articles on Wikipedia with only primary sources that had not been flagged. What I'm struggling with is at what point are sources really deemed "independent"? Yes, newspapers, tv, radio etc. are, but these days so much news is online, and I have been sourcing online news sources. So I will continue to look for news sources, but I'm not sure which online news sources are considered credible or not...
Unrelated, I'd left my drafts up on my sandboxes, and someone has informed me that linking images here is illegal... do you know why? It doesn't seem to make any sense to me. But I will go ahead and clear my sandboxes.
Thanks! 50.37.21.238 ( talk) 07:31, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your message. I welcome the opportunity to seek your advise regarding information for the above mentioned article. Since, I have documented news articles and books stating that the vision of J. B. Fuqua was to establish the school as a "model school," then how do I go about adding those articles/books as references. Can you help me?

Hi,
I saw your message. In fact, I understand the problem and you are basically right about the article about the Kudelski group. However, the problem is wider than just WP:GNG as these pages (this I know from a reliable source) have never been under control by the company, they were in fact created by some external entity with absolutely no relationship to the company. The problem arose when the company tried, a couple of days ago, to regain control over the page. The result is that the people that should be trusted about it have been locked out in favor of the original authors. I would personnally rewrite the whole thing, but the issue should be first resolved with User:Ks cyber team so they can regain control, maybe you know how to solve this ? -- Eforler ( talk) 08:50, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
It is not so much about truth, but about verifiability. Gtwfan52 ( talk) 23:54, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
Hi there, as an uninvolved editor, I have done some major cleanup of the article and was wondering if you would like to update or reconsider your position for the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kudelski Group. Thanks Tiggerjay( talk) 07:42, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
Peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, peoples rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension.
Thanks for advising of articles. I have updated it with reference to the news article where the superintendent was removed from his post. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gusmacker ( talk • contribs) 14:51, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
Dear Gtwfan52, I received your message regarding my edits to the Findlay, Ohio wiki page. As a lifelong resident of Findlay, a graduate of Findlay High School, The University of Findlay (as well as a current graduate student), and a substitute teacher for the Findlay City Schools, I felt compelled to expand the "education" section of the page, which I feel is sorely lacking. Most of the information is from my own personal knowledge, but the specific information I obtained was credited to the sites for Findlay City Schools and The University of Findlay where I obtained that information. If my citations were not properly placed or in the correct format, I apologize. While I would like very much for my article to remain, there was another minor edit that was of more importance to me. Under "Notable Natives", there was a listing for a porn star named Brandy Talore that I removed from the list. I do not know how she ended up on the list of Findlay's notable natives, but she clearly DOES NOT belong there. Her own wiki page states that she is from Toledo and Genoa (which are NOT part of the Findlay area). It is unlikely that she has ever even visited Findlay if that is where she lived. In this area of Ohio, we take pride in out home towns, and Findlay is respectable family-oriented community. Persons associated with the porn industry (who clearly are not even from Findlay) do not belong on a list of our notable natives. If there was a "Hall of Shame" perhaps, but even then, that woman is not from Findlay, and the type of filth she promotes has no business being associated with our town. I am quite adamant that she be removed from the list.
Thank you-- Ohio777girl ( talk) 20:22, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Festivus for the rest of us! | |||
Frank Costanza: "Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way." Cosmo Kramer: "What happened to the doll?" Frank Costanza: "It was destroyed. But out of that a new holiday was born: a Festivus for the rest of us!" Kramer: "That must have been some kind of doll." Frank Costanza: "She was." This holiday season, have a fantastic Festivus! —

1. I tried to point out on the talk page that an article that was a list of lakes in Wisconsin was silly, but my ideas were opposed by every single person who responded. I have a cheap netbook, and the page loads just fine for me. 2. The article is "broke down" [sic] alphabetically. 3. According to the title of the article, this isn't a list of notable lakes in Wisconsin; it's a list of lakes in Wisconsin.
If you'd like to help establish some meaningful criteria for this article, please join the discussion on the article's talk page. -- Mesconsing ( talk) 00:15, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
While I can't argue "policy" about a school's achievements, I think its pretty lame of you to wholesale X out a bunch of this school's athletic achievements. I've traveled a lot of high school articles that have far lesser, individual achievements listed, sometimes as the school's only limited achievements. Of course, I think a still standing national record is rather significant. Many schools derive their entire minor claim to fame based on the individual achievements of their alumni. You'd have your work cut out for you to delete all that material based on "policy," to the detriment of wikipedia. That said, when you do make an edit, short sighted or not, look at the article to see the additional damage you have done. You left the additional reference (that I had updated literally minutes earlier, apparently inspiring your deletion) as a missing ref, because you deleted the first, named ref. You are a very active editor, spouting policy to delete content. You are not a novice. You should know better. Trackinfo ( talk) 10:21, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
Hello Gtwfan52. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Superstar Santhosh Pandit, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: not a hoax, film exists, but I doubt it meets WP:NF. I found [1] which says it "has had a limited release in a few theatres across the state." I will probably AfD it, unless you get there first - it has previously been PROD-deleted and recreated, so it can't be PRODded again. Regards, JohnCD( talk) 12:50, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
...came back on my talk page begging to keep his userbox. I told him to make his parents read my note and WP:YOUNG and then, if they agreed, I would not remove it again, but I could not guarantee that someone else might not object to it. Just FYI when you see it back again. JohnCD ( talk) 17:02, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

Here's my draft and I confirmed it's finally finished. I put as many sources as I can and on the reliable sources noticeboard they said they were alright sources if there weren't any. So how does my draft look so far? Tell me if I need to make more improvements and I'll do so. Thanks!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Richland High School (Texas), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Blogger( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
