See Reginald Berkeley for my proposal to merge the two articles as I am certain that Reginald Berkeley (politician) and Reginald Berkeley (writer) are the same person, as confirmed by the obituary of Captain Reginald Berleley in The Times of 1 April 1935 page 9, which refers to his plays and also to his career as an MP (presumably not an April Fools Day hoax!). Hi, sorry for the delay, but you left your message on my user page, not my talk page, and I just now noticed. Hi. When you recently edited H. Cegielski – Poznań, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marine engine ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Would you mind terribly using edit summaries? Most of your edits that I notice are adding architecture-related categories to buildings, but it would save my and others' time checking our watchlists if you used the summary. As I'm sure you know, there's a way to set your preferences to remind you if you forget. I know it takes extra time but think also of your fellow editors, many of whom may not be as familiar with your edits as I am. Thanks for considering it. Valfontis ( talk) 19:00, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi there - I'm puzzling over Category:World War II internment camps in the United States, which you recently created. Do you know of any such facilities that don't fall under Category:Japanese-American internment camps?? (which is the only content of your new category) There were, of course, a bunch of POW camps -- but they're all in Category:World War II prisoner of war camps in the United States. So I'm hoping you can clue me in on what prompted you to create this new category. Regards, Cgingold ( talk) 23:43, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

Dear Author/Hugo999
My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at the University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address recently edited an article on 2007 Bernard Matthews H5N1 outbreak. I would like to ask you a few questions about you and your experience of editing the above mentioned article and or other health-related articles. If you would like more information about the project, please visit my user page ( http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Hydra_Rain) and if interested, please reply via my talk page or e-mail me on [email protected]. Also, others interested in the study may contact me! If I do not hear back from you I will not contact this account again. Thank you very much in advance. Hydra Rain ( talk) 12:45, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
I recall you talking about a proposed page covering quirky things about MPs. I take it you have a source for these things, or are you collecting these facts as you come across it? I wonder whether you can confirm that Arthur Rhodes was indeed the first New Zealand-born person to be elected to the House of Representatives? It was mentioned in one place only, and I couldn't find a second reference to it. Schwede 66 21:49, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
John Sheehan was the first New Zealand-born Pakeha elected to the NZ House of Representatives (& also Cabinet Minister). He represented the Rodney & Thames Electorates in the 1870s & 1880s well before Arthur Rhodes went to Parliament. There is an interesting page: "List of Political Families" by Country. The Rhodes Family of New Zealand could be called a political dynasty with four Members of the NZ Parliament in the 19th Century. Others are Ormond/Wilson & Wakefield/Stafford. A page on the longest serving NZ Members of the Parliament would be another interesting list (rather than Father of the House). This page has been in the Mountaineering cat for ages. It didn't really belong but I kinda liked its peculiar presence there. Good work, however, on the new and more appropriate cat, as well as for all your efforts on the Alps page. Whither Schrofen and Sawanobori? Concerning your contribution, Wikipedia:WikiProject New Zealand/politics/Suicide squad (New Zealand), a page move cannot be done by simply copying and pasting the contents of a page into a new location, as such a process does not transfer the page's edit history and therefore violates the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license by denying attribution to editors who worked on Suicide squad (New Zealand). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from Suicide squad (New Zealand). As a violation of the page move process, Wikipedia:WikiProject New Zealand/politics/Suicide squad (New Zealand) needs to be temporarily deleted under the speedy deletion criteria so that Suicide squad (New Zealand) may be properly moved in a way that will preserve its edit history. Wikipedia:WikiProject New Zealand/politics/Suicide squad (New Zealand) has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. If not, please refrain from editing either Suicide squad (New Zealand) or Wikipedia:WikiProject New Zealand/politics/Suicide squad (New Zealand) until the latter has been deleted according to Wikipedia's speedy criterion G6 (non-controversial housekeeping).
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Schwede 66 19:50, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

The fact was ... that of the five women who served on the New Zealand Legislative Council ( Mary Dreaver pictured), three were there to abolish the institution? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/List of members of the New Zealand Legislative Council. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Greetings from Kelburn!! Saw this edit; I don't think that U.S. military unit category belongs at all. It's WP:RECENTIST if limited as it is at the moment, and completely unmanageable (thousands of articles) if it is comprehensive, plus it duplicates the by-war categories. If you still wish to nominate it for deletion I would support you. Cheers Buckshot06 (talk) 06:08, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
List of football clubs in Australia is a disambiguation page, to which links are improper. My edit to the template was necessary to allow the template to call the correct article - the kind of "football" club being related in that template. Hi, this is a superfluous category. The article you are recategorising should be placed in Category:English cricket seasons from 1969 to 2000 per the WP:CRIC standard. Can you please comply with standards on categorisation as you are creating unnecessary interim categories that, like this one, contain only one article. Further, if you are going to create season categories like this you have to do the job properly and go all the way back to 1725. But it is completely unnecessary because the CRIC standard already caters for what you are trying to do. If you don't understand how the standard categorisation system works, please ask me or post at WT:CRIC. Thanks. ---- Jack | talk page 15:44, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
I created these categories to go with other existing subcategories in the 1945 to 2000 period which I had proposed for renaming, eg from Category:1966 English cricket season to Category:1966 in English cricket (not as an "interim" measure). Over the period there would be an average of 4 or 5 articles per year. But as noted this is being discussed elsewhere. Hugo999 ( talk) 23:38, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
