Thank you for citing the quote here. I created the article and ended up forgetting where I got quote from. A newspaper review, probably. The article has become quite unbalanced in terms of Gardner's "fakery", I think, so if you happen to be knowledgable on the subject it would be great if you could balance it. – Outriggr § 00:53, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Yea, precolonial and geography. thank you so much again! Oldag07 ( talk) 20:27, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi. You left a number of fact tags on this article, which already had an overall tag for inline sources, which really meant individual fact tags weren't necessary. Regardless, you placed a fact tag on this sentence: "Following the outbreak of the American Civil War, though the border state of Maryland was officially Union, the Surratts were Confederate sympathizers like many other slave-owning farmers." I'm wondering just which part of that sentence you were disputing: That although Maryland was officially a Union state but is considered a border state with ambiguous allegiance; that the Surratts were Confederate sympathizers, that they owned slaves or that many slave owning farmers were Confederate sympathizers. Essentially, these are all given facts in the US Civil War and issues surrounding it, so it would help to know which part you question. Thank you. Wildhartlivie ( talk) 10:35, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Bonjour Giovanni-P! I wondered if you had seen the news that the Joseph Priestley House may close - the information has been added to the article and is discussed on the talk page. Unfortunately my French is not that good, but the French article on the house looks very nice. If you told me what labels to change and gave the French words to use, I would be glad to make French versions of the two maps. Thanks for you work, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:40, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,
