Please note that the title format "Eastlink (disambiguation)" should only be used when one particular example of the title is so overwhelmingly more important than the others that it really deserves to be at the undifferentiated title (eg. Ottawa vs. Ottawa (disambiguation).)
Generally, the guideline is this: if you seriously intend to make Eastlink a redirect to Eastlink (disambiguation) rather than a distinct article, then the dab page should just be at "Eastlink". Bearcat 23:24, 13 September 2005 (UTC)

I see that you are listed as a participant in the WikiProject Melbourne. If you are a Melbourne resident I would appreciate your views on the suggested Meetup in March . Please give some indication of your interest, or otherwise, in the idea. Even a simple "No thanks" with your user name would be welcome and assist in assessing the level of support for a meetup. Thank you.. Cuddy Wifter 06:30, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Evan, I've tried the template at Flinders, Victoria. Could you take a look and see that I've got it right, or edit it to what it should be. My understanding of tables is not the best. Regards - Cuddy Wifter 06:27, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
Hi. I'm doing a survey of Wikipedia editors as part of a class research project. It's quick, anonymous, and the data will be made available to the Wikipedia community later this month. Would you like to take part? More info here. Thanks! Nonplus 00:00, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
I do not know whether it is worth re-opening the case given the nature of the changing IP editting. I think PSYCH and his friends will get on with their lives soon enough. This is really getting pretty petty. Xtra 05:54, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
I think this is a good reason to support the idea of only letting registered users edit. Xtra 05:57, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
"someone really hates you" Yeh, I kind of figured that one out a while back. Xtra 09:18, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
I just don't agree that's all.
1. Cranbourne is NOT surrounded by farmland, areas surounding Cranbourne are growing and not generally used for farming anymore. I looked at the Melway too!
2. Well 'organizing' is the correct spelling according to the OED but 'coordinating' makes more sense.
3. From WP:STYLE#National varieties of English: If an article's subject has a strong tie to a specific region/dialect, it should use that dialect. A stong tie? What are you on about?
4. I looked at the Melbourne Train Network in the Melway and it doesn't say anything about the end of the line so 'terminates' is fine with me.
Geez lighten up, you're 16 for crying out loud. Stop your bitching! Pnatt 19:20, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Sorry but I forgot to let you know that I added two drawings of my own PID's for the article because I thought the article needed them. Thanks for also fixing up the images. I was abit pressed for time. Lakeyboy 08:30, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Cheers for the simple answer to my formatting problem! michael talk 14:58, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Yeah Evan, my comments on Lakeyboy's userpage were not a personal attack at all. I honestly dont understand why he has on his page that he has an AM radio and a FM radio. I stand by my comments that this is a pointless waste of bandwidth.
Similarly, I do think that 99% of non paraplegic population would have completed a 5000meter run.
I would love to know why you are removing these comments. I fear it is merely because you are in the same school-class as LakeyBOY.
Regards Mike
Grow up and stop reverting my source edits. The Matt Tilley article needs sources. Most of what is there is unsourced and POV.

Hello, you've indicated that you're interested in future Meetups in Melbourne on this list, so I'm giving you this message to remind you that Melbounre meetup number four is currently in planning. If you haven't already, please go to Wikipedia:Meetup/Melbourne to suggest possible dates, times and locations. Thanks -- Michael Billington ( talk • contribs) 03:03, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Greetings, person who is listed as being interested in future meetups in Melbourne. The fourth meetup will be held on 18 December, at Lower House in Fed Square (in the Alfred Deaking building, Flinders Street end near the Atrium: map), starting from 7pm. We don't currently have a separate location for discussion beforehand, but there'll be plenty of time to talk wiki over dinner. -- bainer ( talk) 15:03, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

The fifth meetup of Melbourne Wikipedians is being planned as a breakfast meeting in the city with Jimbo Wales (at a venue to be arranged) on Friday, 27 April 2007.
Jimbo has proposed breakfast as the one real window of opportunity during his tightly scheduled stay in Melbourne. Tbe precise time has to be sorted out with Jimbo, but the arrangements for the equivalent Adelaide meetup a few days before may give a good idea.
Feel free to edit the relevant page in any way that might be helpful. I feel like a bit of an interloper, not having attended previous meetups. If there's anything you can do to help, I'll be grateful. Please think about whether you'll be able to make it, assuming the arrangements are similar to those Adelaide is adopting (i.e. a block of time with people being fairly free to arrive when it suits them). Some indication on the page of your possible participation would be really helpful. Metamagician3000 06:28, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
I notice that you have edited lists of bus routes recently. You might be interested in helping with the new WikiProject buses, especially the proposed Bus route list guide. We are also working out when a bus route should have its own article and other issues. -- NE2 15:27, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Apparently State Route 62, will take over from State Route 22 along the Ringwood Bypass and Mount Dandenong Road (Ringwood to Montrose).
If you don't believe me, look at www.ozroads.com.au - click the "Vic" link on the top of the page, then find your way to the "The Metropolitan Route Numbering System in Melbourne"! -- Rom rulz424 ( talk) 02:54, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
I have also been told from discreet resources that State Route 86 will indeed run through the Dandenong Bypass. It may not be a freeway, however once the Dingley Freeway is complete - State Route 86 will carry through.
As for alphanumeric route numbering, VicRoads plans to keep the Metropolitan State Route number for navigational purposes in the years to come.
If you have any feedback on my two comments, it would be much appreciated!

Hi, At last month's June meetup we discussed the idea of setting up a Training Course at a University of the Third Age ( U3A) to be held in 2013 and named Becoming a Wikipedia editor. In order to get this course up and running we are calling for volunteers to help develop the idea, and either tutor part of the course, or provide one on one help to students in the class. All local Wikipedians are welcome to discuss this at our 11am meetup to be held this Sunday on 22 July. Please add your name to the attending list at Wikipedia:Meetup/Melbourne 23. Food and beverages are provided. Cuddy Wifter ( talk) 02:23, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Can you help? Wikimedia Australia will be holding an introductory training day for editing Wikipedia and related projects. With support from La Trobe University and Bendigo Community Health Services, it is for health information professionals across the region. It will also be open to other information community groups as well (regional historic societies, librarians and the like). The workshop is on Thursday, February 21, at Latrobe University Bendigo. If you can help, please contact Leighblackall or Peterdownunder, or register directly at the Wikimedia page.-- Peterdownunder ( talk) 06:48, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,

You are listed as a Wikipedia photographer. I have a number of photo requests from around Melbourne that would be greatly appreciated. If you get the time or are nearby/can travel to the location, it would be much appreciated.
If you find them & upload them correctly/appropriately, please alert me & I'll handle it from there.
REQUESTS:
Thank you so much for your help. Please message me for any more info.
