Hi Ericorbit. I've just come across two suspect users, 190fordhouse ( talk · contribs) and Statmo1921 ( talk · contribs); they edit similarly in several pages, usually one right after the other, such as in [1] and [2], among others, but the latter has been move active lately. Sorry to bother you with this again but someone is now posting the (incorrect) second single on the discography page . I have deleted it for now but I'm sure they will be back FascinatingBlondeOne ( talk) 23:52, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

why did you delete everything I added???? What was wrong with adding a page for the number one songs of 2010 ????????? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Okokok238 ( talk • contribs) 04:12, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
I'm also having an issue with this user. On the List of number-one digital songs of 2009 (U.S.), he has simply copied or used the same references from the Hot 100 lists even though the source does not always state the #1 digital song. I started to go through them one by one, leaving the ones that do reference the #1 digital. I informed him of what he did, and not only did he revert my changes (as the suspected IP sockpuppet), he also removed my comments from his talk page. Thanks. -- Wolfer68 ( talk) 16:58, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I would have thought the link between the awards and the Billboard charts was notable trivia. Why remove it? !! Justa Punk !! 00:09, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Don't you think that Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Songs/coverversions has now run its course and we have a concensus? Can't we wrap this up? Is it worth getting an admin in with axes to grind to close it? -- Richhoncho ( talk) 08:31, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
At the moment the page isn't done with the Wikipedia standard because Cubfan789 suggested a new style for the tables. I saw to him that before to modifie is better to discute on MJ Albums Talk Page because the new style for the tables is not done with the Wikipedia standard, but nothing. Also if we begin a discussion, he modifie with his style and often ignore my messages. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Michael_Jackson_album_discography#Page_Style

heya, just wanted to ask: in tables in discographies, should the text size for the certifications be normal or small? because some editors say one way and some another, the same with flc reviewers. is there actually any concrete guidelines? its really confusing! thanks :) Mister sparky ( talk) 16:20, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi again, just letting you know I used to "final warning" template as the user is persistant and I've seen others commented on his page. Was that the correct one to you use? What do I do next if the user again vandalises. Jayy008 ( talk) 18:20, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

Hey I was wandering if you could help me again. I was told if I wanted a page to be moved I should put in a request on some board but I looked and it's very "full" so I thought if I asked you it would be done quicker. I have made a separate page for Mariah Carey's singles I was wandering if you could change "Mariah Carey discography" to "Mariah Carey albums discography" thanks. Jamie. heya, me again lol. was wondering if you had any examples of how a uk chart source like chartstats.com or everyhit.com could prove their reliability? i'm working on flc discussions for the black eyed peas and the pussycat dolls, and once again a certain reviewer refuses to accept validity of any uk chart source. any ideas or help would be great :) Mister sparky ( talk) 19:42, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi there Eric, good to see you around. Any comments you could make on the sources are appreciated. Also, I'm not sure if you noticed but many of the recent Billboard number-one single lists have been nominated for featured list removal (e.g. Wikipedia:Featured list removal candidates/List of Hot 100 number-one singles of 2002 (U.S.)/archive1) because the Billboard links went dead a couple months ago. Do you know the best and fastest way to fix these links? Thanks, Dabomb87 ( talk) 04:57, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Billboard published the information that I posted. A lot of official websites from several artists published this information too (As Clay Aiken's official website, for example, that I used as a source). The first link I posted was from a blog, so I agree it could be removed, but the information was reported by Billboard Magazine at the best sellers (single)list of the last decade. Can you please salt this page - List of Lady Gaga songs? Complete unsourced fancruft, only one source is there and that too a wikia.com link. I have redirected it to Lady Gaga discography, but those uber fans keep on changing it. --Legolas (talk2me) 08:33, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
I don't understand why you deleted the resources, then stated that it is missing a source? Now, I understand that the Gagapedia source doesn't count, but Stefani Germanotta (Lady Gaga)'s BMI and ASCAP are both provided, and on these, they show the copyright to Unreleased songs by her.
Here is her BMI page:

and here is her ASCAP page

Dear. Why do you delete the list of collaboration? it was a lot of work doing the list! This collaboration list is a remarkable part of Pet Shop Boys' work!!! It was discussed on http://www.petheads.de and http://www.petshopboys-forum.com. Further it is verifiable! Its source: http://www.psb-discography.com/ why do you say "doesnt belong here"???? it does! greets. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.74.162.154 ( talk) 07:12, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
In many other discography sites (f.e. david bowie) are lists of collaboration work! so why not on pet shop boys site? i refere to an official site!!! its http://www.petshopboys.co.uk/product/collaborations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.74.162.154 ( talk) 07:15, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

we discussed it on wikipedia-en-help... the list should be set on the discography site! maybe it could be renamed in "as featured artists" or something else. it has been sourced to an official site:
http://www.petshopboys.co.uk/product/collaborations. substitute the question marks! a comparable list of collaboration songs exists on many other artits sites like kylie minogue, madonna or rihanna! —Preceding

hey, by looking at the list that they kept adding it seems that some of them could be included in an "other appearances" section as song-writers, if they are properly sourced by official reliable sites. not the ones the ip kept adding as they are obviously fan-made sites. when i was doing the flc for the Ne-Yo discography it failed mainly because it didn't include his songwriting credits, which i have no started adding and sourcing, so i do think that they should be included. but def not chart positions and def not with question marks all over the place. is that any help? :) Mister sparky ( talk) 15:23, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello Eric, RE: the user above: Now he's back and unblocked, he's began his disruptive edits again. I put a final warning on his page, and then noticed you had already put a final warning. Can you block him please for longer this time? Jayy008 ( talk) 17:36, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Thank you! They have blocked him indefinatley now so I guess we won't have anymore problems from him now. Jayy008 ( talk) 19:22, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Definite trouble here. I removed a set of charts (Billboard Brazil for being improperly sourced, Nielsen Poland for being unverifiable, and Billboard Portugal for being fraudulent). Jivesh boodhun ( talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) is constantly restoring them, generally as an IP. I've struggled with him before, and I'm convinced that the Mauritius IPs are him. I've verified that he seems to be the only one editing anonymously from the area ... the edits from that range of IPs are nearly all Beyonce, with a few other pop artists mixed in.
Could you either semi-protect Sweet Dreams (Beyoncé Knowles song) ( | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), or range-block 41.136.74.0/23? Either one would force him to use his named account, and let us do this by the book.— Kww( talk) 15:05, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
this user keeps vandalising some pages I'm working on and keeps reverting my edits. Can you block the user please? There have been many other warnings on the users talk page "Only Warning" etc. But I thought I'd get someone to deal with it. Thanks for your help in advance Eric. Jayy008 ( talk) 17:04, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Eric, I have changed my mind on account of my edits, we've resolved the issue and agreed to wait until Feb 16. However, there's many other warnings there, and as Kww said above. Jayy008 ( talk) 17:44, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Would you take a look at this article? Completely unsourced hence I redirected it. Another user came in and reverted back to the unsourced form, citing we need extensive discussion as to why this unsourced version should be kept. This is getting beyond ridiculous, the user is doing the same in all the Gaga articles, not allowing others to vote freely at the Afd's and intent on keeping articles which would do well being redirected. Would you take a look? --Legolas (talk2me) 08:42, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
I do this becasue her name is Janet JACKSON, on the album covers it does only say 'Janet', but her name is Janet JACKSON. I know she's been using the name since the 90's, but when you click on every song of hers, it comes reads "song by Janet JACKSON". Since you insist on what you say, maybe you should go through every one of her songs on Wikipedia and change them to say "Janet".- ( Gabe19) 21:41, 8 February 2010

Can you please block this us Eric. His constant vandalism is becoming annoying. He only comes on to edits every few months I notice and always on the same page Whitney's latest tour. First he kept splitting the countries (Back then I didn't know how to give warning templates so I just wrote on his page) however people kept reverting them back inc me and he kept changing them, eventually he never edited again. Until a few weeks ago he did something and when I come on today I see he completed changed the whole page due to his opinion and altered the set-list ALOT. Can you please issue a permanent block? I was looking to try and figure out if he was a sockpuppet but I couldn't find the button to see which country he's from Jayy008 ( talk) 14:10, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Can you also please leave a message on an IP's page about the edits to TiK ToK (song). They won't read guidlines just decide what to put by "what's needed" as is extremely rude. It begins with a 24. Thanks Jayy008 ( talk) 19:23, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

"On" is an adverb in this context, modifying the verb "keep." Most sources seem to agree that "Keep On" is the correct capitalization here, so I've moved it back. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • ( Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 14:06, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
