Hi i saw you got Lazare Ponticelli article to FA and i thought you maybe be interested in getting Frank Buckles to FA or GA for his 110th birthday Febuary 1. He is the only living American WWI vetern left. Spongie555 ( talk) 05:09, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
I've reviewed the article and left notes on the talk page. I've put the nomination on hold for seven days to allow the issues to be addressed. Feel free to contact me on my talk page, here, or on the article talk page with any concerns, and let me know one of those places when the issues have been addressed. If I may suggest that you strike out, check mark, or otherwise mark the items I've detailed, that will make it possible for me to see what's been addressed, and you can keep track of what's been done and what still needs to be worked on. Thank you for uploading File:JosefMikl.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. multichill ( talk) 13:17, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
![]() | On 9 January 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Lavoy Allen, which you created or substantially expanded. Hi,
I just started a review of the above for GA. However there is a merge banner on the page which is a quick fail criteria. Has this discussion been resolved. If so the banner should be removed. Jezhotwells ( talk) 21:56, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
The article
Dan Borislow you nominated as a
good article has been placed on hold
. The article is close to meeting the
good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See
Talk:Dan Borislow for things which need to be addressed.

I approved the DYK hook though I made a suggestion about mentioning in the hook which team the Buff's beat. Agne Cheese/ Wine 19:28, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
I saw the quality of your contributions at DYK and clicked on over to your user page and was pretty impressed. Would you be interested in helping with the WP:Online_Ambassadors program? It's really a great opportunity to help university students become Wikipedia contributers. I hope you apply to become an ambassador, Sadads ( talk) 01:16, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Hi Ed. I am afraid I may have bitten off more than I can currently chew. There must be some sort of script or tool that would help enter the schedule and I figured that was an important first thing to get right. Fine tuning the prose content could wait for more capable and knowledgeable editors. Anyway, I got bogged down trying to type in the schedule by hand and learned I really don't have the time to spend on the article. The reason I embarked on it in the first place is because I was surprised it was not there already, but it looks like I am not the right person to put it there. Perhaps after some more time and additional basic editing opportunities, I will be better suited for such a task as this one. Are you saying I should erase the page in my sandbox? I guess hope springs eternal in terms of sometime getting back to work on it, but if I am causing problems I can remove the page. -- Grandpa jlc ( talk) 03:57, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
