Helicopter clean up

That "Jordan Metts" sentence you removed from Helicopter appears to have been vandalism added by IP user 216.236.163.54. Good work and thanks. - Fnlayson ( talk) 03:03, 27 August 2008 (UTC) reply

You can handle it like this. Just copy & paste, changing the name of the article as needed, & add "rvv" or "rv vandalism" to the edit summary. You can save the boilerplate in your own sandbox, & I've got stronger boilerplate warnings if you want 'em. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 05:14, 27 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Florida Keys SPAM Removal

Hi. The main reason I removed the link was not due to any evaluation of the value of the website (or the work that they do). It was because the nature preserve wasn't mentioned anywhere on the article. If it's not notable enough to appear on the article, or be very closely related to its contents, then it shouldn't be an external link. This is because Wikipedia is not a link directory; external links should only be a way of providing access to material that can't be included on the article. Perhaps you could consider adding a section to the article that references the nature preserve, plus other similar establishments? This should wikilink through to Crane Point's own Wikipedia article. That would be much more informative for the reader and also help out the Crane Point article, which currently is only linked to by two other articles. -- Escape Orbit (Talk) 11:12, 15 September 2008 (UTC) reply

--Thanks for the response... and the advice. I'll take it to heart.

NowCommons: File:Fort Jefferson Moat - Dry Tortugas.JPG

File:Fort Jefferson Moat - Dry Tortugas.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Fort Jefferson Moat.JPG. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Fort Jefferson Moat.JPG]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. -- Erwin85Bot ( talk) 12:30, 1 November 2009 (UTC) reply
