Hey Davey2010; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so. On Thursday and Friday the tool will be down for a major deployment; it should be up by Saturday, failing anything going wrong, and by Monday if something does :). Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) ( talk) 22:42, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
On The Dumping Ground page, the reason I deleted Amy-Leigh Hickman from departing characters is because she isn't leaving. It's just the end of the 1st series, so no one knows if there is a 2nd series, so she isn't leaving. It's not some practise edit or ought, she just isn't leaving. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.212.78.89 ( talk) 06:47, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
Hi Davey.
It might be a good idea to go easy on the bus route list AfDs for a while. Putting in so many at one go is likely to overload the process and piss people off. Patience.-- Charles ( talk) 00:05, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Just thought you would like to know that there has been a lot more lists which have been nominated for deletion which can be viewed here. Wilbysuffolk (Talk to me!) 12:36, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
Hi there, I've noticed you've nominated quite a few bus lists from Template:Bus routes in the UK for deletion. I was wondering if you know about bundling multiple similar nominations? It could help reduce the spam effect and encourage participation. Funny Pika! 18:22, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Category:Lists of bus routes in the United Kingdom is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Category:Lists of bus routes in the United Kingdom until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Davey2010 Talk 14:44, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

Hey. As you've recently started a AfD dealing with the deletion of bus routes in the UK I'd like to point you towards a new section at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Buses#Mass deletion of lists of bus routes in xxx that I'd appreciate you taking a look at. My gut feeling is that there's just too many of these open for now. I appreciate the work you do in this area, but... Blue Square Thing ( talk) 10:43, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

Okay, having re-read that - fair point that aiming a "civil" solely at you, without simultaneously levelling an "AGF" at the other contributor, may have seemed somewhat unfair. Apologies for the lapse of impartiality! Quackdave ( talk) 20:07, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
A recent discussion that you had participated in on Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion regarding articles with "List of bus routes in..." has been relisted due to the amount of redundant requests submitted. This discussion has been centralized and has been posted at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2013 April 4#List of bus routes in Cambridgeshire. You input regarding these redirects as a whole is welcomed. Steel1943 ( talk) 02:33, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

Dear Wiki User/Administrator I have found that on one occasion you removed my edit from The Dumping Ground Wiki Page. I now understand you have to have evidence and I've tried to supply you with that in the form of Tweets and a Youtube video. I think this is the way to talk to you because it said "Talk to Me". I have emails that I can share with you on Wiki but how would I extract some of the Email content and put it as a reference. Please Reply. Hi. I saw your comment on WP:AIV. The text of WP:BLANKING says:
(This also applies to talkpages). There are specific cases where stuff shouldn't be deleted, but general warnings aren't in the list of cases. However "taken to mean that the user has read" is taken seriously. The fact that someone has vandalised, been warned then deleted the warning(s) doesn't mean they're able to stick their fingers in their ears and go "na na I can't hear you"; admins will note from the page history that warnings have been issued and ignored and will act appropriately. In the case of User:Kingfrogger666's edits they appear to have stopped editing, however I, and probably other admins, will be keeping an eye out to see if they start again. Blocks can be issued without prior warning (especially given that they're taken to have read the warnings…) Keep up the good work! Tonywalton Talk 00:50, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Maya Nehme: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Cindy( talk) 04:45, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello Davey2010, Can you please explain why you deleted my page given my reasons for contesting the deletion? Thank you. ( Kim1532 ( talk) 01:46, 2 June 2013 (UTC))
I see that you have tagged my newly created article on actress Jennifer Pisana for speedy deletion citing - 'a very short article lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article.' May I inform you that I had just created the article a minute ago and it takes some time to fill it and add further context, hence, appearing "short" to you. Furthermore, if you do a quick google search for Jennifer Pisana, you can see that she has acted in quite a few films. Don't you think she deserves a Wikipedia page, at least tagged as 'to-be-improved' rather than 'deleted'? Sorry to say, but simply tagging articles for deletion without carefully analysing other people's efforts shows poor judgement and carelessness. Stylistica ( talk) 09:47, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Hi Davey,
I've noticed that you have made a request to have the ProjectEurovision newsletter to be sent to a specific talk page. I'm not really sure if that is possible, as I use EdwardsBot to send out the newsletters to everyone, and it tends to post them on the talk page of the members listed on the project; and not to a designated user area. It may be a case of manually moving them once received, unless you know of a way around this issue? Wesley♦ Mouse 01:31, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Hello! I was wandering around and noticed your "I hate the VE" message. I just wanted to let you know that there are no plans to get rid of the current "Edit source" function (so far). (I doubt they ever will.) They just plan on making the VE the default. Ref: [1]
Also, one of your userboxes says that you use WinXP (and seem rather attached to it). You should be aware that XP will become completely unsupported on April 8, 2014. (In case this is a shock to you [as it has been for everyone else I've told], it's worth saying that Microsoft's postponed it at least twice.) Refs: [2] [3] [4] [5]

IMPORTANT CHANGES: We have modified the selection of articles SuggestBot suggests and altered the design to incorporate more information about the articles, as described in this explanation.
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information.
