European GP

A discussion ensued some time ago about which flag, if any, should appear in connection with the European GP. It was a long discussion but the gist of the conclusion drawn was that the European flag is not really suitable as the European institutions have little to do with Formula One directly and the use of the flag tells us nothing useful. It was therefore decided that showing the flag of the circuit's location at least gives us a shorthand note telling us where the race is happening.Hopefully explains why things are done this way. Post-race updates

If you want to update F1 driver articles after a race, could you make sure to update the whole article rather than just part of it? Thanks, Bretonbanquet ( talk) 15:06, 13 November 2011 (UTC) reply

Hello? You're still doing it. Your edits aren't actually counting at the moment because I have to go back and do the full update from the previous version of the article before your edit, because it's quicker than going in and working out what you've done and what you haven't done. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Dakar Rally fatal accidents, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Calama ( check to confirm |  fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Sportscar results

Hi Darkness00. Thanks for adding sportscar championship results to various driver articles. FYI, the standard format for a footnote to indicate that a season is still in progress is "Season still in progress". Regards. DH85868993 ( talk) 11:03, 8 February 2017 (UTC) reply

We don't use the Daily Mail as a source

This was decided earlier this year, got a lot of publicity. I replaced it with a CNN source. Doug Weller talk 12:24, 21 August 2017 (UTC) reply

2019 Race of Champions moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, 2019 Race of Champions, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. ( ?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed ( verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
