Hi DK, a little stutter yesterday I see. Have you got any books that would enable you to confirm the youth career and years at senior clubs info that is currently in this player's article, and then cite it. Thanks. Eldumpo ( talk) 08:21, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Listed buildings in Southampton, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rustication( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello Daemonic Kangaroo. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Cosmo's pizzas, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: seems to be a fairly large company selling consumer products and has received some attention from the media. That's enough to survive A7 IMO. PROD/AfD if you wish. Thank you. SmartSE ( talk) 14:55, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Hello, unfortunately it seems that an ensuring edit war is about to take place in relation to the above. Can I ask that you explain why you feel the need to elaborate on Sturgis minor sporting endeavours on the article's talk page. We do not want warring; we want the best for the article and I for one feel that your insistence on elaborating on this subject is redundant. -- Cassianto ( talk) 00:33, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
Your post is perplexing, coming from an experienced user. Thepeerage.com has been discussed a number of times at WP:RSN. The clear consensus is that it is not a reliable source. It is self-published by authors who are not recognized experts in the field, and who have not previously been published by independent, third party publishers with a reputation for reliability with the relevant scope. It therefore does not meet the requirements of WP:RS or WP:SPS As such, removing references to the site without further discussion is perfectly proper and appropriate. If that leaves an article unreferenced, it is for those editors interested in the particular subject matter to supply sources that actually meet the requirements of [[WP:RS]. Thepeerage.com is heavily footnoted. Onene can go to the sources it relies upon where they meet that requirement (it relies heavily on Burke's Peerage; where it does Burkes should be cited instead) but one is left at an impasse where it relies on sources that do not meet that requirement, such as blog posts and user-supplied material, which do not meet that requirement. But, thepeerage.com itself is not a reliable source, and cannot be used, no matter how convenient it may be. Fladrif ( talk) 19:46, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi there KANGAROO, thanks for your supportive words (and thanks for the corrections in the LEZAMA piece),
i'll certainly have a look at the article you mention when i can, but let me reassure as of now by saying that "Portero" in Spanish is indeed "Goalkeeper", "Midfielder" is "Centrocampista".

Hello Daemonic Kangaroo. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Pritam Kotal, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: according to WP:FPL the I-league is fuly pro, so this passes WP:NFOOTBALL. Thank you. JohnCD ( talk) 10:48, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi, Daemonic. I'm letting you know that I have reverted your nomination of article Chris Riggs for speedy deletion. While they article isn't exactly in top shape, the text includes many indications of importance (see CSD:A7). Examples include: "... pop and street art has made him a leading artist of his generation ... Riggs decided to run for Mayor of New York City", the list of his exhibitions, etc. Of course, I encourage you to seek out the sources and nominate for PROD/ AfD if that content cannot be supported. FYI, Bideford football club is speedy deletable per the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bideford 1st XI. I've tagged it as such. Regards, -- kelapstick( bainuu) 09:36, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Jesse Jack Hooper did indeed contain nothing but a link, but you tagged it A3 only one minute after it was created. Though they shouldn't, new users often press "Save page" after only adding a word or two or a link, to see how it looks and whether it's working; it is discouraging and WP:BITEy if a speedy deletion notice immediately pops up. Though things like attacks and copyvios need to be tagged at once, with A1 or A3 you should wait at least 10 - 15 minutes to see if any more appears - see {{ uw-hasty}}. I have deleted this, since three hours have gone by, and left the newbie a message, but I'm afraid they may have gone for good. Regards, JohnCD ( talk) 11:24, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi, it's been speedy deleted now so I can't say anything on its content. Regarding notability it obviously fails WP:NFOOTBALL, just a case of waiting until August for it to be recreated. Cheers, Mattythewhite ( talk) 16:47, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Hello Daemonic Kangaroo, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Kalpana Saxena, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. I would like some help with a page I have written, would you be able to help please? not a problem if you cant. thanks. ( Darrylgsy ( talk) 15:39, 7 June 2012 (UTC))
I hope I am sending these messages in the correct place? I saw that my page ( Priaulx League) had been marked for speedy deletion, I think I have now corrected the mistake I had made and now it should not be deleted? I know I should have used my sandbox a little more...
1) One thing I am struggling with is the way you use a template to setup a page. In my example above I should use the football club template, but I could not find how to use it so copied another league and then made all the modifications. not the best way, but it seems to have worked.
2) lastly, in my sections some have a line going across the page, whilst others only have a short line. Could not find the code that I need to change to correct this.
3) Is there a way on Wikipedia to search all articles for specific text, for instance if I wanted to search for all references to "Priaulx League" to make sure all references point to the page I have started, how would I do this?
Any other help/feedback would be greatly appreciated. I have only just got into updating and creating pages. I have edited quite a few before I started on creating new pages. I have also created this page, which I think is all in order: Vale Recreation F.C.
Thanks in advance. ( Darrylgsy ( talk) 18:16, 7 June 2012 (UTC))
many thanks for the help you have provided and also the changes you made for me, very much appreciated. I have added three references to the Priaulx League page which will hopefully be enough and I will see what I can add to the Vale Recreation page, I have marked that one as being under construction.
It was so annoying that i could not work out how to extend the lines in the sections, never occured to me that it was the == that controlled that.
Once again many thanks for your help.

I did wonder about the use of the crest, but it is fairly common in football. If you look at most other leagues and indeed clubs they use the logos. I know the people at the League quite well and I very much doubt they would have a problem with its use. I will check with them next time I speak to them. I've gone into a bit of depth on whether or not he was a member of the Palestine team and whether or not we should be saying he was at Talk:Mahmoud Sarsak#Palestinian national team, or perhaps not. Your input's very welcome. Thanks in advance! – Arms & Hearts ( talk) 20:11, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Nice save there. I thought the name may have been misspelled. Even using the correct name, the only hits I was able to find online were used tools for auction and the one that you put in external links. To repeat myself: do you really think samidoun.ca, the website of a North American activist network supporting Palestinian prisoners, is a reliable source? – Arms & Hearts( talk) 15:59, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.

Hi, Wonder if you could advise how I get a page nominated for deletion, one Sunday League club has setup a page and it is basically full of untruths so does not really belong on Wikipedia. Thanks in advance. This is the page in question. [7] ( Darrylgsy ( talk) 13:57, 15 June 2012 (UTC)).
Thanks for doing that, hopefully will be gone before too long. ( Darrylgsy ( talk) 06:39, 16 June 2012 (UTC)).
I have added the explanation, i am sure that we will need the wikipedia page of such person, because there has been a good amount of information regarding the person or reported by him as he is one active journalist and radio host.
I will be adding more details towards the page.

Hello Daemonic Kangaroo, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Iain King, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: there is enough claim of notability here to pass the low bar of WP:CSD#A7. . Consider AfD if you like, but Worldcat shows his book held in over 200 libraries, which is some indication of notability. JohnCD ( talk) 14:50, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
