Tag in list of film noir
Yep, I'd say you could remove tag. Well done

I have a sense that a lot of the more recent additions have references that do not actually substantiate. In fact, I only trust the additions/substantiations that you and
Luigibob made. I personally wish we could just roll back to the version you and he created. I'd do this myself but I'm not an expert in this genre.

Don't worry. I frequently do check and clean up the list. Until now there were no new additions where I couldn't easily clarify if the refernces were legit or bogus.

Softlavender you are a very thoughtful Wikipedian; thank you for your note. Mr.
Croscher is quite a machine and has done incredible work with the Film Noir list. I am not an active Wikipedian these days, yet I hope to get back in action soon. I'll have to review what film noir articles still need to be added (if any) ... and possibly build on them. Then there is also the Argentine Films I am fond of ... I need to check on them ... once again, thank your for being thoughtful

OK, thanks very much to both of you; I'm glad the article is being watched and not falling into disarray. When articles get so long I start to worry that they are inaccurate. While we're on the subject, there's another issue I have with long list articles: Although an excellent resource, it can be sort of overwhelming or mind-numbing to the reader. I wish there were a place to list the MAJOR film noir titles of each section/era (or year). Even though that would be a subjective list, surely there are authors who agree on major versus minor entries in the field. I don't know where such a list would belong; I guess in the article on Film Noir itself, which I don't have on my watch-list. Anyway, I'm just thinking aloud. Cheers,

Softlavender thank you for you input. I truly believe the list Wikipedian
Croscher, from the work of many others, has massaged the section and it is truly UP TO DATE. We cannot thank him enough. As for your comment about the "
Film Noir itself" what a nightmare that article is -- the infighting is endless, as such I never got involved (not the end product, but the process) .... just sayin' .. The Film Noir List, however does have a link on that Wiki Page -- Be well
Softlavender -
