I'm an absolute newbee to Wiki Edits. I've added a line and some references to the Wiki article for Peter Gunnarsson Rambo. Should I open a user talk page since I am seldom on-line? My replies could take years literally. Is is a bad idea to put my e-address on a user talk page? I'll check back for an answer. Thanks.

Happy new year. I have placed your GA nomination on hold. Thanks, Racepacket ( talk) 04:18, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

I'm guessing you didn't mean to do this Talk:Rebecca Lukens. I went to change it, but was about to do the same thing! Something is obviously off. Smallbones ( talk) 17:08, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi Coemgenus, (They sure are taking their sweet time over at RfC). I was just taking in your user page. It's sort of funny that we are on the 'same page' in so many other areas, right down to our Irish and Italian ancestry. In any event I was having second thoughts about the postage/stamp section on the Harrison page, that perhaps there is too much mention of Harrison's postmaster and perhaps other things. I still think a 'catch all' section is not exactly the best approach but instead I have something else in mind that perhaps will make all parties comfortable. We could make a 'Legacy' section, with small sub sections for 'postage' (of course) one for 'currency', and one for 'memorials', and maybe one for paintings and other items. I am going to edit the current postage section on the Harrison page, remove two of the stamp images and try to condense some of the info' making cursory mention of the nation's first commemorative postage stamps. This will be what I hope will be a sub section to a 'legacy' section. Below is a rough draft/outline of what I have in mind.
Legacy
Harrison has a long and interesting legacy..
I will be copying most of this message and pasting it in the Harrison discussion page so we can get input from our other friends. Let me know what you think. -- Gwillhickers ( talk) 00:35, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
WikiProject Good Articles will be running a GAN backlog elimination drive for the entire month of March. The goal of this drive is to bring the number of outstanding Good Article nominations down to below 50. This will help editors in restoring confidence to the GAN process as well as actively improving, polishing, and rewarding good content. If you are interested in participating in the drive, please place your name here. Awards will be given out to those who review certain numbers of GANs as well as to those who review the most. On behalf of my co-coordinator Wizardman, we hope we can see you in March. MuZemike delivered by MuZebot 00:30, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi Coemgenus. I just wanted to let you know that I responded to your comments on the FAC for Kennedy half dollar. Thanks for the comments on the article!- RHM22 ( talk) 20:42, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
Your attention and input is needed again on the Thomas Jefferson talk page. -- Gwillhickers ( talk) 22:17, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for your participation here, fellow lawyer! On your first comment re AL's name – I may be trying too hard here; the only edit war I've seen was over the clarity about the given name. Let me know. Carmarg4 ( talk) 20:16, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Thanks again for all your work here; the article is much improved despite no promotion. Carmarg4 ( talk) 12:28, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
I think you helped with the issue about the number of stamps. User:Gwillhickers has reinserted an airmail stamp we removed - it may be okay to keep it - it was apparently the only airmail stamp for a pres.(it may need another source). The point I wanted to raise with you is that this user is a philatelist. I have asked him to please leave a brief description of his edit next time. I really do think it's not right to be "sticking" stamps everywhere without even noting that on the edit summary line. Can we get a senior editor to communicate this? Carmarg4 ( talk) 15:14, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
I installed the script in your monobook.js. There should be a tab with a dash at the top of pages now, and that will run the script. Cheers. — KV5 • Talk • 18:04, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Where are the footnotes for the Philadelphia, Newtown and New York Railroad? I would be glad to have some.
Hello! I remember some time back you said you were interested in improving the Mitch Daniels article if he ran for president. I wanted to let you know I've been working on it lately, and think I have it near GA quality. It can obviously still be improved a whole lot. I am 90% sure is going to run, it would awfully unusual if he didn't, given what all hes been up to lately. Anyways, I certainly welcome any comments or help on the article you might be willing to offer. In the last couple weeks, there have been a whole lot of new useful sources put out on the web. — Charles Edward ( Talk | Contribs) 14:49, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
I'm preparing a user conduct RfC on Gwillickers for disruptive behavior, canvassing and making legal threats. If you're interested in participating I was hoping that you might gather all of the violations he made at Benjamin Harrison. Since I was not involved in that discussion I feel that you have the most perspective related to that. I have a draft page of the RfC in my user space. I copied another ongoing RfC and stripped out the information for use so it's under construction. Feel free to edit in that space or bring up questions on the talk page there. The Benjamin Harrison article would go under the Abe Lincoln one I prepared. Brad ( talk) 12:43, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
Filed at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Gwillhickers. The two users who have unresolved issues with Gwill are Coemgenus and Parkwells. Those two editors must certify that they've tried to resolve an issue with Gwill and failed. Only those two editors (from what I can understand) must reply at the Rfc in the Users certifying the basis for this dispute section within 48 hours or the RfC will be invalid. Other editors like myself can post in the Other users who endorse this summary section. Brad ( talk) 10:37, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
I have Kenesaw Mountain Landis at PR here. As you are interested in both law and baseball ... Brianboulton is already reviewing the article, but as Landis was not Commissioner of Cricket, I suspect he will have little to say about the baseball part ...-- Wehwalt ( talk) 15:59, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi, as I have permission to nom the article for FA, I'm going to close the PR. I'd be grateful if you will keep the review going at the FAC. I will let the other people who expressed an interest in the article know too. The FAC is here.-- Wehwalt ( talk) 15:53, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
I've watched these articles for a while, and there's more than NPOV by the obvious R8 supporter that concerns me. I'm not unconvinced that half of these photos are copyright violations. Walnut Hill however, just happens to be in the worst condition of all the articles.Mitch32( Can someone turn on the damn air conditioning?) 14:03, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
It was recently suggested that WikiProject US Presidents might be inactive or semiactive and it might be beneficial to include it in the list of projects supported by WikiProject United States. I have started a discussion on the projects talk page soliciting the opinions of the members of the project if this project would be interested in being supported by WikiProject United States. Please feel free to comment on your opinions about this suggestion. -- Kumioko ( talk) 02:34, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
