I have completed the requested assesment of Clive King. Barkeep49 ( talk) 21:18, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
I would be happy to clean up your references, but am reluctant to do so in this particular case since Sis's website doesn't meet the standard for citations. For biographies a person's own website isn't considered a reliable source and press releases don't make the cut either. For more see the policy. It can make citing difficult in many cases. The radio prague source is a great one and so I've fixed the use of that for the two places you've used it. Let me know if I can help you in any other way. Hey, thanks for your straightforward guide to working through the list of unreferenced BLPs on WikiProject Children's Literature. I'll help you sort through list of articles. -- Tea with toast ( talk) 16:57, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for letting me know. I shall definitely have a go at finding sources for Peter Härtling later on this evening - little pushed for time at the moment. Unfortunately, as you have probably found out, most of his works haven't been translated into English, so I have a feeling that English sources may be a little thin on the ground. I will add what I can, but they may well be in German. I'll let you know how I get on. Rje ( talk) 17:27, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
I have recently proposed some extensive changes to the layout of project pages in WikiProject Children's literature. The changes can be viewed in my sandbox, and are summarised on this talk page. The proposed changes include major reformatting of the main project page, the creation of five new project sub-pages, and moves to two existing sub-pages. Please look over these proposals, and join the discussion. strdst_grl (call me Stardust) 10:37, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads-up about the Newbery honor books. Barkeep49 ( talk) 01:17, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
As an FYI, both strdst and I go through the Unassessed pages category pretty regularly. So if you plop a banner on a page you don't need to request an assessment since one of us (probably strdst) will get to it in a fairly timely manner. Barkeep49 ( talk) 21:21, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
I think suggesting a merge is definitely a reasonable course of action. Barkeep49 ( talk) 13:58, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi CharlieDelta/Archive 2!. Every attempt to rescue a Wikipedia article is a noble gesture. However, there may be occasions when, with the best will in the world, it is just not possible to accord even a minimum of notability to an article or stub, or find a proper source for it. Most regrettably, even the most dedicated inclusionists will have to concede that the article may have to go if the creator or major contributors cannot justify their work.
For new and recent unsourced BLPs, some users are now working at
WT:BLP PROD TPL on the development of templates that are designed to encourage contributors to source new BLPs, without scaring away the newbies who might not be aware of the rules. This template is certainly not another a licence to kill for the deletionists, in fact the very idea of it is to ensure that you are not fighting a losing battle. It would be great if you could look in at the prgogress and maybe leave a word of encouragement. The workshop page is essentially a template development taskforce, and is not a place to engage in a hefty debate on incusion/deletion policy. See you at

Hi! In an article we don't add Category:Children's writers if the article already has a subcategory of that, in this case Category:Norwegian children's writers. Geschichte ( talk) 17:55, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi! I provide an answer about Dimitar Dimitrov in my talkpage, Regards, -- JSimin ( talk) 01:14, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
I notice you added the template for Freddy Plays Football. [1] Excepting a couple reviews, I've exhausted all the public resources for this book. There are indications that Brooks' correspondence has been preserved. I wonder, as a Managing Director in the company that once published his books, whether any of this is available to you, for use in Wikipedia? High quality thumbnails of the covers would be welcome as well, since the rough dust jacket paper is difficult to scan or photograph. WikiProject Children's literature has recently launched a new Collaboration department. The first Collaboration Article is Curious George (book) - please contribute in any way that you can! If you wish to be alerted to future collaboration articles, this template will be updated regularly, and can be included on your user page as a template. Thank you, strdst_grl (call me Stardust) 17:04, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

WikiProject Children's literature has been invited by the Wikipedia Signpost to feature in the WikiProject Report in the July 19 issue. Please contribute to this report by answering the interview questions here. strdst_grl (call me Stardust) 10:35, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for your work in adding banners to the talk page of articles. I just wanted to let you know for future tagging that the WP:FILM banner should not be added to articles about biographies. The project is more focused on films themselves as well as characters, filming techniques, awards, etc. If you have any questions, please let me know. --Happy editing! Hi!
Welcome to Wikiproject Unreferenced BLP Rescue. Thanks for joining our currently still small team. We've been making some headway and your help is appreciated. We're not fancy enough to have a bot greet members so we make due with human beings. Cheers! -- Whpq ( talk) 17:56, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi Philippa, I noticed you doing a bit of vandal reversion amidst all that project tagging, and think you might benefit from having Rollback. If you'd like me to enable it on your account just have a read of wp:Rollback and tell me when you would or wouldn't use it. Ϣere SpielChequers 11:29, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Hey did you see the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Novels#Category:American_novels, the discussion is kindof stalling and we could use some new thoughts. Sadads ( talk) 16:38, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
An article that you have been involved in editing, Frank Ciulla, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Frank Ciulla. Thank you.
