I reported the user you mentioned. For future reference, you can seek administrator assistance against vandals at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. During the last few days, I've noticed a lot of wrestlers have been getting deletion notices placed on their pages. The first time I saw it, it was done by a sock puppet. Lately, it's been happening again and again, with the same deletion reason: "Wrestlecruft". I'm not trying to overstep my bounds here, but I've been removing the prod notices because I think this is more of the same. The reason I say that is the same four or five articles are the ones getting hit. TeresaKnotts helped with the first wave, but it is continuing. If I am in the wrong, please let me know, and I will stop immediately. If I'm not wrong, could someone check IPs and see if they're sock puppets?? Thanks so much. Hello there Burquelo, I saw ur messages on the wrestler talk pages. "Wrestlecruft" is another word for "Fancruft," only it is specific to pro wrestling...thus, "wrestlecruft." And according to WP:FANCRUFT, fancruft isn't permitted on Wikipedia. U said Ive been "bombing" a bunch of wrestler pages...I dunno what u mean, a wrestler like John Cena is popular across the world, a wrestler like Hobo Hank is fancruft to the umpteenth degree imo. Do u mind if I put the prod tags back on them?- Orstroeebski
Hi, thanks for the reply. i still don't see how the fact that he made the first wrestling promotion in New Mexico makes himnotable...does the first person to establish a hot dog stand in arizona deserve a wikipedia article? It still seems like fancruft to me...
i Dont even knwo who "hobo hank" is, all I know is the Mosh Pit Mike guy. well anyway, how about i put up the Mosh pit mike guy for the regular deletion process (assuming i can figure it out) and well see what happens i guess? that sound ok to ytou?? -Orstroeebski
I don't know what the purpose for your impoliteness is so let's just forget about it. I nominated Mosh Pit Mike and also found "Hobo Hank" and nominated that too, but have decided I'll give you some time to edit them some more to try to establish notability (which in my opinion is lacking). If we haven't came to some sort of oagreement in a few days then I'll go ahead and put them up on afd. I'm on your side dude, just trying to make sure Wikipedia doesn't become fancruft.
