Hello Aspiring Meteorologist! I had a question related to this edit you made on the Flint–Worcester tornado outbreak sequence. In your edit, you marked that there was a 2nd F5 tornado during the outbreak. If I may ask, what source did you see for the new F5 upgrade? If the F5 upgrade is true, then the List of F5 and EF5 tornadoes needs to be updated as well. The Weather Event Writer ( Talk Page) 23:59, 22 December 2023 (UTC) reply

I have some evidence. According to this link: [1] https://www.masshist.org/beehiveblog/2021/06/the-great-worcester-tornado-of-1953/#:~:text=Schroeder%20in%20the%20aftermath%20of%20the%20tornado.&text=The%20statistics%20are%20staggering%3A%2094,damage%20(in%201953%20dollars) , the tornado had winds well over 300 miles per hour. The damage was already debatable as to whether or not it was f5 or if it was an f4, but with winds over 300 mph, it was clearly an f5 Aspiring Meteorologist ( talk) 00:10, 23 December 2023 (UTC) reply
Well that can be used for the estimated windspeed. However, even that does state the rating of the tornado is F4. It is the same thing as the 2013 El Reno tornado, which obviously had 300+ mph winds recorded by radar, however, the rating is still EF3. So, unfortunately, it needs to stay rated F4 in the articles, but it can be mentioned with the believed F5 intensity. Hopefully that helps. Cheers! A Bing search doesn't remotely qualify as an WP:RS. Do not attempt to add TwoSet to that page again; the filter is there because there is a tiresome parade of fans attempting to add them at their request. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:53, 22 May 2024 (UTC) reply
