Hi there, re:
this, you can't use a
primary source for a controversial claim like this. The website you linked to (I can't get the page to resolve) seems like it would be directly related to Singh, which would make it a primary source. Singh has a well-established history of making grandiose claims and he would have every reason to fabricate a story about a case being dropped and an award being given to him as an apology. Any such claim should be supported by a reliable secondary source, i.e. one that has nothing to do with him or his organisation. Thank you.
