Hi Amalshaji27! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically Emblems of Indian states, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. -- Stefan2 ( talk) 14:51, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
Hello, Amalshaji27. You recently edited List of English words of Malayalam origin, adding links to Cash and wikt:orange. Wikipedia and Wiktionary are not considered reliable sources to verify the content of other Wikipedia articles. Sources should come from publishers or other organizations with a reputation for factual accuracy, not from user-generated web sites. Please see Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources for details. Thanks, and happy editing, Cnilep ( talk) 04:49, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from List of English words of Malayalam origin, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 ( talk) 06:26, 6 March 2014 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at List of English words of Malayalam origin shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Cnilep ( talk) 06:59, 6 March 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Ugog Nizdast ( talk) 10:57, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mango, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dutch ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
