Hi there, I hope you don't think that I hacked away too fiercely at Poh Ern Shih Temple. I find it easier just to fix things rather than complain about them, but I'd be the first to admit that I'm by no means perfect. Anyway, I think it reads well now, I hope that you do too. -- Malleus Fatuorum 01:11, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

No worries mate, I am more receptive to constructive comments & follow-ups than seeing cheap shots & unconstructive edits like vandalism, POV trolls, high-handed unilateralism etc, that I've sadly seen much of late in Wikipedia. Due to persistent tired eyes & left ankle pain (courtesy of past aggressive Judo sparrings & long travels abroad), I'll take a short rest for now before embarking on a few more SG GANs next: Ee Hoe Hean Club, SGH War Memorial etc. Thank you for your wonderful copyedits done earlier. -- Aldwinteo ( talk) 02:16, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
In my younger days I did quite a bit of judo myself; I too still have the occasional aches and pains from it. Looking forward to your next lesson in my colonial history. :-) -- Malleus Fatuorum 02:24, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Please contribute to our National Day project!

Greetings, Aldwinteo! I know you have not edited much recently; how is your "real life" going? Mine has been full of changes - I have matured and have decided to be more "action" and less "talk". For example, I have written three more GAs, taking my tally to 5 (and counting); in fact, I have pledged to contribute 2 GAs and 2 DYKs to our National Day project (and have already started working on them). Zscout370 and Jacklee are also interested in contributing to our project, so perhaps you could help by bringing Singapore in Malaysia to GA status - if you succeed, it will appear in On this day on 9 August every year! For an experienced and prolific GA writer like you, that should not be too difficult, if you can get your hands on several good history books. Hopefully that is enough "inspiration" for you - but is three months enough "time" for you? If not, how about writing a DYK or two? I do not wish to rush or impose on you, but for our project to succeed, we must move from planning to writing soon. -- J.L.W.S. The Special One ( talk) 12:39, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
