Hey. Just wanted to give you a heads up to check the Wikipedia Main Page (homepage) Friday night between 6pm-2am PT as I nominated California Shine the Light Law (S.B. 27) for the Did you know section and it is currently scheduled to appear at that time. I hope your professor is suitably impressed :) Happy editing, Zachlipton ( talk) 08:51, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
![]() | On 5 March 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article California Shine the Light law, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that California's Shine the Light Law requires companies either to provide an opt-out from personal information sharing or to disclose the data that they share? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,
