January 2021 redux

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in professional wrestling. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has enacted a more stringent set of rules. Any administrator may impose sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

PPV event infobox

Please stop changing the formatting, such as you did here and across all of WWE's PPV event articles. We don't need the full name of the show with the year in parenthesis. The year is enough, unless a specific event had different name. This is at least twice now that you've been reverted on this. At the very least, explain your reasoning before making these changes again. -- JDC808 06:23, 2 February 2021 (UTC) reply

Yes, you need consensus to make these widespread changes. Consider going to WT:PW to make your case. If you continue to make these changes then you will be reported. LM2000 ( talk) 21:58, 2 February 2021 (UTC) reply

I've noticed you keep changing what I've done in making the years smaller in the infobox. They were made smaller to make the infobox cleaner and tidier. I've explained this a few times in edit summaries, but you keep changing it back. You are also failing to use the edit summary to explain why you keep making these changes despite being reverted multiple times. I see you are fairly new here. If you are reverted and you make the change again, please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning. -- JDC808 11:25, 28 February 2021 (UTC) reply

You are still changing things despite explanations being given, and you are still failing to use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for why you are making your changes. This is a final warning that you will be reported for your failure to communicate and continued reverting of content despite your edits being contended. -- JDC808 15:02, 2 March 2021 (UTC) reply
