I originally started out editing on Wikipedia making what I thought was constructive edits. I soon moved onto ridiculously stupid vandalism and other ridiculous edits. As my opinion of Wikipedia at the time was just very low. I thought it was edited by a whole bunch of hooligans that had nothing better to do. My opinions have since change and I now always ;) make constructive contributions on here. Also I was blocked for sockpuppetry. The other account was LukesLegends or something along those lines. It wasn't my account but I knew who the person was. Something came up a while later about some other 'LukeLegends 2' account which I'm not real sure about who's it is. But seems like it might be the same person. Not sure as I'm not with contact with him anymore.
Anyway ... Now I take wiki a lot more seriously and want to become the best editor I can be. By the Way I think the edits below were the ones I made when blocked, kind regards, Aaroncrick ( talk) 12:17, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

What AFL players are from Launceston? Aaroncrick ( talk) 06:31, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
Bidgee downgraded the article because the article is not in as good a condition as it used to be. This is most likely due to changes in the article in the last few months. More information is not necessarily better information. Too many tables and lists are not recommended, and sources for new additions are preferred. Take a look at Manual of style, Writing better articles, Guide to layout. In the specific case of the Launceston, Tasmania article, check out WP:WikiProject Cities, and look at some of the "Feature articles" or "Good articles" in that project. That is the kind of format, layout and content that editors should aim for. -- Chuq (talk) 10:19, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
hmmm still believe that it's a bit harsh Aaroncrick ( talk) 10:23, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Oops can anyone help me with the Launceston government part. Aaroncrick ( talk) 06:01, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks very much for fixing it. ( Aaroncrick ( talk) 06:22, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
I think that C is about right for this article at the moment. Its not yet as sharp as Hobart which has a map, Education and Demographics sections, and has superior prose. It has improved considerably though and is not far off. Keep up the good work. I'd probably give it a B with a decent and properly licensed map. Moondyne 07:20, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Can you please stop deleting everything! If something does not have a reference try to find one or give 48 hours for someone to find one. You seem to be too busy trying to get everything perfect. Valuable information is being deleted. Yes half of it it correctly done so but the other half is just unconstructive edits. Aaroncrick ( talk) 10:17, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Well maybe it does. Everything should be sourced but make a note of it in the discussion. Talk about it first. Care should also be taken in deleting information that is obviously correct and has yet to be sourced. For example on the Launceston Airport Page, it was announced on the news that another flight will be added to the Melbourne to Launceston route. I didn't have time to add a reference and was going to do so, if no other editor did. I was suprised to see next time i checked it was deleted. You didn't even bother to look for a source or mention it in the discussion. Aaroncrick ( talk) 10:27, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Where have blogs and forums been added as sources? Aaroncrick ( talk) 10:33, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
It's like talking to a brick wall to you. You have just deleted the Accidents and incidents part out of airport article becuase it's noted in the Melbourne Airport page. You have also no discussed it! You don't listen to what is said and you just carry on doing what you do best. I don't know if it's arrogence or vandalism or what? Aaroncrick ( talk) 10:45, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Stop it with the Please remain civil and assume good faith thing. It's getting annoying. How about "Please make appropriate edits and slow down with deleting everything". Thankyou Aaroncrick ( talk) 10:52, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Sorry about the please remain in good faith thing, i didn't see that Mjvs said it earlier. Aaroncrick ( talk) 11:01, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:Aaroncrick [2], you will be blocked for vandalism. Bidgee ( talk) 10:57, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I suggest you familiarise yourself with the process of Wikipedia:Good article nominations and Wikipedia:Good article criteria. Mvjs ( talk) 21:08, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Riverside High School (Launceston) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact
one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.

A reference absolutely does not make something notable. A long standing Wikipedia policy is that trivia sections get tagged, generally because it either a) indicates the fact is so trivial and unimportant that it cannot be incorporated into the prose of the article and therefore is unworthy of inclusion; or b) the editor/s are too lazy to write it into some prose. I know what I'd be doing if I wanted the article to improve, but you need to decide for yourself which of these those 3 tidbits are, and deal with them accordingly. . Moondyne 07:37, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice. Aaroncrick ( talk) 08:27, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading
Image:Launcestonpicturesfromcommons.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate
copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{
PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{
self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag
here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. -- MifterBot ( Talk • Contribs • Owner) 23:52, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Country Club Tasmania requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

Please assume good faith in your dealings with other editors, which you did not on User talk:Bidgee. Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia. Bidgee ( talk) 12:01, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Why? That stupid! Aaroncrick ( talk) 22:22, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Tasmania. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Hi Aaron, in your sandbox you have a link to Launceston, which is a dabpage I keep an eye on. You need to link to Launceston, Tasmania for the place you mean. Best wishes, DuncanHill ( talk) 03:08, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
I am pretty busy right now - will get to the peer review tomorrow. Sorry to take so long. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:23, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi Aaron. I've given Launceston a decent copyedit and cleanup, as you requested. I don't think the article satisfies the good article criteria just yet though. I would suggest that you source another copyedit or two before nominating the article for good article status. Congratulations on all your work on the article so far. Mvjs Talking 05:11, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
No where in the article's talk page of the peer review do I see anyone stating that it should be B-class other then yourself. The article is still be class since the article still needs work on the content, sources and I suggest that you read Reader's experience and Editing suggestions WikiProject article progress grading scheme also someone who doesn't have a interest in the article (Since you have largely edited the article) to rate it. Bidgee ( talk) 04:59, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
I noticed a question on User:Mvjs talkpage. Google Earth images can't be uploaded on Wikipedia as the images are copyrighted. Bidgee ( talk) 08:51, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Where does it state GNU licensing? Seems copyrighted to me. Bidgee ( talk) 10:03, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Can I ask how you took this image? I'm always a little suspicious of self-made shots from above. J Milburn ( talk) 11:11, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Damn you with your York Park! :-P I can't believe I'm researching and writing things for an AFL article - I thought Hell would freeze over first. I don't even know how I stumbled across the thing in the first place, though now I realise it was probably through the AU 200GA portal. I would be up for doing the copy edit, but I have difficulty editing on screen. I prefer to print the article and edit that way but I won't have access to a printer for a few days. I'll give it a go though, if you want.
If you are in the GA-helping mood, please also feel free to swing by Canning Dam - another GA nominee I've done work on, and Yarra Bend Asylum when it's finished. Yarra Bend is currently mostly in my sandbox though I'm hoping to finish it in the next week so we can get 200GAs by Australia Day. Shelbypark ( talk) 07:59, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
