Your edits on Marriage

The change that you have repetedly tried to add to the page Marriage has been discussed extensively prior, and hte consensus has been that the intro should reflect all forms of marriage. Please do not continue to reinsert your controversl edit without first achieving consensus on th the talk page. - Nat Gertler ( talk) 20:19, 10 February 2010 (UTC) reply

If that's the case that you want to make, then Talk:Marriage is the place you should be making it, rather than edit-warring against current consensus. - Nat Gertler ( talk) 20:32, 10 February 2010 (UTC) reply
Your statement about who participates in the talk page is neither accurate (recent discussions of the term "individuals' includes about a dozen editors beyond the ones you listed) nor a reasonable argument for ignoring consensus. - Nat Gertler ( talk) 20:43, 10 February 2010 (UTC) reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Marriage. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. CTJF83 chat 20:44, 10 February 2010 (UTC) reply

66madewoqa, I've blocked you for 24 hours for edit-warring at the Marriage article. It is up to you to gain consensus for changes you may wish to make. Insisting over and over on your version is not going to work and blocks will get longer if you keep on doing it. Please reconsider your strategy over the next 24 hours.
