Sorry, my edit summary may have been unclear. I mean to say that the information you removed was correct. There have indeed been nine official EF5 tornadoes since the scale was introduced, but no tornado has been rated EF5 since the 2013 Moore tornado. Well, technically the 2013 El Reno tornado was given a preliminary EF5 rating, but that was downgraded to EF3 for some rather controversial reasons. TornadoLGS ( talk) 20:14, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
