After some research I believe this would be considered an under-eave tile, applied for decorative purposes below the main roof structure. I'll update the image and add this as a category of trim piece on the page. Sorry for dismissing it earlier, I had to look at some examples of Sri Lankan architecture to see how a tile of this type would be used. WereItNotSoSimple ( talk) 18:46, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
