  1. WSpaceport is just another Wikipedian (actually, it's shorthand for "Western Spaceport" which refers to Vandenberg AFB, where I was stationed during my active duty days as an U.S. Air Force Captain with the 1369th Aerospace Audiovisual Squadron (Combat Camera -- now part of the 30th Communications Squadron :-)
  2. I'm also known as ~JS~ (the initials of my first and last name)
  3. I became a Wikipedian in 2005, mostly because I felt compelled to edit/correct other Wikipedian's well-intentioned entries and/or historical facts which were either in error, or just plain wrong. I'm fairly good with researching background historical material on the motion picture and television industries, the U.S. Air Force, NASA and the space program in general. This is due in large part because I've had the benefit of living through the eras in question as well as being an eyewitness to history-in-the-making as it happened . . . so I can help you -- if you ask me!
