Andre Vellino is an Associate professor of
Information Studies at the University of Ottawa. He has practiced Buddhism in the
Thai Forest Tradition of Ajahn Chah since 1990 and studied with western monks from this tradition, including
Ajahn Viradhammo and
Ajahn Sumedho. Andre is a past president of the
Ottawa Buddhist Society. He is also a member of the
Order of Interbeing and a
Lay Dharma Teacher in the lineage of
Thich Nhat Hanh.
