Welcome to the user page of Tynewyrd. Pronounced /taɪn/ /wɪəd/. The etymology of these two words can be located here and here.

As an avid reader and appreciator of Wikipedia, I joined the collective in 2022 as a contributor. The site has often been a go-to solution to answer my own questions, so it was a natural progression for me to participate in improving and adding to the benefits this platform offers (and to address the occasional glaring grammatical error).

I am slowly but surely making my way around the platform and getting to know how things work. If you spot something that could be improved (including within my own edits), please feel free to reach out - I am very open to discussion and feedback.

On a personal note, I enjoy playing with language and finding the perfect turn of phrase to make text come alive. I have a keen interest in medicine, history, business, and certain individuals within these spheres, though I am happy to explore other forgotten corners of Wikipedia and delve into topics that spark long-forgotten dormant interests.
