My name is Stefan Wirz (who would have thought?), I'm a (meanwhile retired) landscape architect living and working in Hannover, Germany.

Playing guitar and collecting records since the 1960s, I (as a labor of love) started building 'Illustrated discographies' for several folk and blues artists as well as some (mostly out of business) record labels.

A few days ago I have started transfering some of the 'musicological' knowledge accumulated in the last decades to Wikipedia. Please excuse me if you should find any 'Germanic undertones' in my writings, since the language used here's not my mother tongue - Any (reasonable ;-) corrections are welcome !!!
