Aloha. For many years, I lived and worked in the town of Waimea on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. I like to take pictures, grow palm trees, fly airplanes and solve math problems. As of November 2008, I am working as a US civilian defense contractor in Iraq. I've been fortunate to see and do some amazing things in Iraq.

In 2010, I worked in Afghanistan as a military contractor.

From 2013 to 2018, I worked in Abu Dhabi as a contractor for the UAE military. As of 2019, I'm still in the Middle East.

This photo [ [1]] of my daughter is still possibly my best contribution to Wikipedia. It's the lead photo of "kangaroo care" in several languages.
