For the record, though, I am not journalist Matt Welch. (Since he is L.A.-based, and his e-mail address with reason.com is "mwelch", my working on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim article in 2006 apparently led some bloggers to conclude that he was using this username on Wikipedia also.)
