TADEA Middlesbrough Lions Basketball Club

TADEA Middlesbrough Lions Basketball Club is one of the most exciting, dynamic & entertaining clubs in the country. Founded in 2007, the organisation is in the early stages of life but has made a huge impact on the National scene, to such an extent that the governing body; England Basketball granted National League entry to the ambitious Teessiders after their inaugural season in the National Founders Cup. The Lions game day is among the best of the best with entertainment including music, sound effects, cheerleaders, half time shows, exciting team intros, competitions and resident DJ; Principul who is a well respected R&B performer.

The Lions team consists of a strong blend of experience and youth with young home grown talent to the twin towers of Dean Hanson and Andrew Marshall, 7’1 and 6’10 respectively who have both played in the USA. This along with the addition of our resident Lewis Hamilton look alike and starting guard Damian Warrinner and new signing 6'4 guard Thomas Robinson.

TADEA Lions owner;James Thomson has signalled his intentions with the assembling of a strong team and with securing new signings both on and off the court, the club are looking to mount a serious challenge in the league within the next two years.
