This account (GiddyGlomph) is my first foray into the Wiki-World. I was previously involved in the Chemistry and Engineering Stack Exchanges but have since ceased my activity on those sites.

I am quite unfamiliar with the customs of Wikipedia, and have already made a number of mistakes. Please let me know if one of my edits or revisions were counterproductive so I can 1: undo that edit, and 2: avoid similar mistakes in the future.
