Seungseongyo, or Seungseon Bridge, is a granite stone bridge constructed in semi-circular arch configuration 14m./46ft long and 3.5m./11.5ft. wide. Monk Hoan built this
Joseon Era bridge over a period of six years beginning in 1713. Through the bridge, one can see Seonam Temple, Seonamsa, a Korean Buddhist temple located on the eastern slope at the west end of Mount Jogyesan Provincial Park, in the city of Suncheon, Jeollanamdo Province, South Korea. Photo by
