Michelle Metevier

Michelle Metevier (Mee-shel Muh-teev-yair)(July 15, 1970) is an American Singer, songwriter, born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She is known to have a Unique voice and Style as most people call her to be very passionate when she sings. Musically, Metevier is Pop, Asian Pop, Country, Contemporary Artist. Her debut single A Treasured Memorywas released in 2010 which made her famous in Europe and Asia. She also became famous on Myspace and built her fanbase, then took a break from music and deleted her account. Currently, a ReverbNation Artist, Local Rank #3, Regional Rank #49 and National Rank #234.

Life/Career

Michelle Metevier was born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines and given by the name of Michelle Manligas Guillermo. She was an only child. She has been singing early on in life. She used to sing with her mother and first performed in her uncle's band at age of 3, singing " Pearly Shells". She went to school at Sta. Asuncion Elementary School, Sta. Asuncion, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Phillippines, on her First Grade & Second Grade. She was excellent in Arts/Music. She then transferred to Sta. Rosa Academy private, Catholic school and studied there from Third Grade until her Junior Year in High School. She graduated as a Salutatorian in Six Grade and was the President of the Pupil Government Organization. She was a member and also the Secretary of the YMCA in Sta. Rosa Academy. She was an Honor Student throughout her elementary and high school years. She was involved in choir and theaters. She won awards and medals competing Declamation Contest against other Catholic schools throughout Ilocos Norte. She was a "Reyna Elena" during the Flores_de_Mayo in Third Grade. She was Miss Sixth Grade in Sta. Rosa Academy, also in beauty pageants during school [ [1]] and was a Muse of Sta. Asuncion, San Nicolas in Fifth Grade.

She emigrated with her parents in 1986 in California, United States of America and became a Naturalized American Citizen in 1990. She went to Santa Ana Valley High School. She was an Academy Student and in the Honor Roll. She attended and graduated from Rancho Santiago College, now called Santa Ana College graduated in Associate Degree of Science in Medical Assistant Administrative and Clinical and Associate Degree of Arts in Liberal Arts. She had her Vocational Nursing at NCORP [ [2], while she was the Vice-President of HOSA (Health Occupations Student of America)[ [3]]. She was one of the students who represented NCROP in the National HOSA State Conference and awarded 5th Place in Extemporaneous Poster Making and one of the Top 10 Finalist of the Kaiser Permanente Examination that would have represented California in the National HOSA Conference in Georgia, but was unable to attend the event. She became a License Vocational Nurse [ [4]] after passing her Board of Nursing License Examination, in California, United States of America in 2004 to present.


Michelle Metevier performed in Laoag City] radio stations and did singing competitions. She also performed during the San Nicolas Festival by participating in folk dances and doing "solo" performances with over twenty-thousands audience during the Miss San Nicolas Beauty Pageants yearly since Fifth Grade. She continued to perform including fund raisings in College. She was born to entertain whether in a crowd or around family, relatives, and friends... She was in the "Tawag Nang Tanghalan USA" a singing competition in [5] Channel 18 in 1990. She performs to special and public events and programs internationally and locally. Her goal is to be able to perform in wide range of audience, but most importantly to be able to perform in various schools to promote "Love and Peace". She has a big heart and believes that children come first because they are the future. They deserve to be loved, cared for and nurtured. She loves people of all ages especially admire those who try to make this world a better place. She performed in Santa Ana College and other schools.

Metevier, also known as Chellie Rose, released her first single " "A Treasured Memory" in 2010. She later changed her stage name to Michelle Metevier in March 2011. Metevier took a break from her music and deleted her Myspace and Reverbnation Accounts took down all her music from iTunes. She decided to have her music remixed and remastered her tracks. In 2015, she released her second single "Angel Butterfly" in iTunes and was in the top 100 in Spotify for the first month. She is currently a Reverbnation Artist and Rank #3 in Reverbnation - Pop in Orange County, California and Rank #49 in California. Metevier is managed by MGM Management/] and her music is being produced by her fiancé Alby Metevier. Metevier just recently re-released her song " "A Treasured Memory in June 2016 and waiting on Angel Butterfly to be re-released after mastering the song with Aftermasters.com. She is working on her upcoming album "Reflections of Love" and will be released in the end of 2016.

Influences

Michelle Metevier was influenced by Whitney Houston and Barbara Streisand when she was just a little girl. She was also influenced by Madonna (entertainer} and Celine Dion in her young adult and did covers of her songs. Admire the talent of Kelly Clarkson as well as Mariah Carey.
