Conflict of Interest: Disclosure

I worked as Content Director for Shore Fire Media, a publicity and media management firm, from 2015 through 2019 (as of this writing, my Wikipedia page shows only the date of my hire, not my departure). Because monitoring the accuracy of Shore Fire's Wikipedia entry fell within the scope of my employment, I will not edit the entry for the firm.

I also have many years' experience as a journalist and editor, including 18 years as a music reporter for USA Today. I will most frequently work on Wikipedia to improve articles in my areas of expertise in the areas of music and music history.

If my editing conflicts with Wikipedia guidelines, I will be more than happy to alter it. I ask that other editors do not hesitate to contact me, via my user talk page, if I appear to be going against this declaration.
