Billy Nair was born in Kapiolani and graduated from Kahuku in Hawaii. Lived in Yosemite for just over a year and climbed with the best of them. Lived in Hokkaidō, Japan for 2 years and learned the language well enough to give guided tours at The Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii and around San Francisco where he was able to perfect his BMX Street skills. Visited Utah and ended up staying 14 years longer than intended (as of 2011).

Taught Visual Basic at UVSC for four semesters, now currently works for LexisNexis automating their HotDocs forms.
