Hi Arctic Fox/UBX, someone, probably you, requested access to the account creation tool. For security purposes could you please confirm that it was you who made the request so we can approve you, thanks. Also, if it was you who created the request, you may also wish to the subscribe to the mailing list, which is used for internal discussions between the account creation team. I would suggest that you don't need the account creator right at the moment, you've only created a few accounts, and there are plenty of people around to do the similar requests. Therefore, I suggest that you just create the requests that are "Open" on the tool, and leave the "Account creator needed" to the rest of us. You will need the account creator right, to be added to you by a sysop if you hit the 6 account creations per IP address for every 24 hours. The Helpful One Review 12:41, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- I have suspended you on the tool as a result of you giving a password to a user to the entire mailing list, which was quite a serious mistake, and therefore in theory also giving you temporary access to that users account, which we are not allowed to have.

WP:ACC - account creation blocked issue (RE: Thehelpfulone's talk page)
Hi! I've done a bit of experimentation, and I've discovered that getting the IPblock-exempt flag will solve this issue for you. I'll grant this now, but you must understand this: this will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in. While you can edit already, this will remove the block on account creations. Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions. Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator. As soon as the block on your school expires, please notify an admin and they will remove the flag. Please also be aware that this is a scenario that has never happened before (that I can tell), so I'll say it here as well: this flag, as it stands at the moment, will allow you to create accounts from where your IP address is blocked, even though you can edit already.
