Kristine N. Cook (born October 8, 1985) is a graduate student living in Bloomington, Indiana. Born at Camp Pendleton to a former Marine and his wife, she has lived in five states ( California, Colorado, Georgia, Ohio, and Indiana) and hopes to add more to that list. She is primarily known as AffirmationChick around the Internet.

She wishes she had more time to edit the glorious Wikipedia; however, something called life often creates a speed bump for her. She graduated from California Baptist University, with a bachelor of arts in English with a concentration in creative writing in 2008 and currently attends Indiana University Bloomington to pursue a masters of library science. She is currently leaning toward a specialization in academic reference work.

She enjoys writing, reading, tinkering with computers, traveling, and listening to music. As a writer at heart, she looks at every opportunity presented as a chance to research her future writing!
