About

Hello! I am proud to have joined Wikipedia and look forward to making worthwhile contributions to this respectable website. Good editing everyone!

I often do copyediting, but sometimes I will add sources, write bullet points or sections, or remove vandalism. My greatest interests lie in history, but I edit pages from other topics as I see fit and when I feel I can contribute something worthwhile to them.

Joined Wikipedia: 2020

First edit: 2021 (Both the year of my first edit and the page that edit was for)

Mistakes

While I take pride in making useful edits, occasionally I will make a mistake while editing. Enjoy the following examples of my errors!

1. Description of error: Editing description for the edit I made to the article on the year 2018, at 15:55, 1 December 2021. I overlooked misspelling the word "usually" as "ususally". Error: Adding Barbara Bush to the obituary of notable persons. The policy of Wikipedia has ususally been to include First Ladies of the United States as notable persons, and thus there is no reason to omit her. Comment on error: Considering how often I fix spelling and grammar errors in articles this is an embarrassing mistake. At least it is just the edit description, not the edit itself.

Stepping back from Wikipedia

Due to a combination of being busy in real life and burnout, I am no longer going to be frequently active on Wikipedia. I might come back at some point, but for now I should be considered the equivalent of semi-retired from Wikipedia. While I currently lack the will or energy to support the project, I hope others will continue to contribute and won't give up on account of me joining the ranks of Wikipedia editors who couldn't sustain their efforts.
