From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am happy to be a contributor to the Wikipedia community. I believe that Wikipedia is a critical part of our communal understanding of the world. While news media often cannot be publicly peer-reviewed, and scientific journals are often very technical and expensive, Wikipedia offers a treasure-trove of reliable information for anyone who may be curious about it. Knowledge begs to be free, and it is a prerequisite of democratic civilization to ensure that as many people as possible have access to unbiased, peer-reviewed, factual information on as many topics as possible.
