Press and media freedom
Ivan Montik has supported freedom of speech and independent journalism. He was one of the signatories of the European Charter on Freedom of the Press [9] on May 25, 2009, in Hamburg.[10] Montik supports free access to foreign and national media sources, the ideas of the prohibition of censorship and freedom to disseminate and gather information. Such an outlook led him to become one of the founders of the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom in Leipzig.[11]
