From September
2007 to October
2008, Jared worked as a
software engineer for
Sungard Data Systems near the
Wall Street area of
Manhattan. He then joined Confirmit Inc. as a Professional Services
Consultant, and helped pave the way for the
Norwegian analytics firm by closing over 5,000
support tickets in his 6+ year tenure there. In
2016, Jared joined
artificial intelligence and
computer vision startup
Clarifai, where he built out the entire Support Engineering department from the ground up and ran it by himself for three and a half years. He also led the company's world-renowned Cheer Enforcement Task Force to help enhance the company's culture and morale, and successfully oversaw two heralded company-wide Olympics competitions in 2018 and 2019. Jared began his first foray into the
advertising world by joining Ad-Tech startup TripleLift in
August 2019, where he resolved many complex platform issues and wrote a plethora of
Python scripts while also mentoring many Junior team members. He started his current role as Head of Support at
fintech startup CorpAxe in
November 2020, and continues to oversee the performance of the entire Support organization and help drive improvements with engineering, product and business teams to make the platform as awesome as possible.
Jared joined Wikipedia in August
2006 while he was doing an internship at the
auditing bureau of the New York City
Comptroller's office. He was very bored one day and luckily, Wikipedia was not one of the websites blocked on his personal computer. Since then he has worked on a bunch of sports articles. He is always editing some article or another to try and get it featured (or GA first, of course). Much to his delight, the New Jersey Devils were recently featured on the front page on
June 30,
2007, the 25th anniversary of their team's naming. Jared then got goaltender
Martin Brodeur on the front page twice, most recently on
May 6,
2012.

Congrats on getting the
New Jersey Devils article to featured status. I know you, flamurai and I worked hard on this for a long time, and you deserve some accolades for your hard work. Hope to work with you again on another sports article in the future.

The Outlaw Halo Award
For your outstanding work on things having to do with the
New Jersey Devils; including the articles, lists and all that. The only reason I award this one is because the image has devils horns, so it sort of has something to do with the Devils.
