The Blu Vivo XL is an Android smartphone manufacture and marketed by BLU Products.

Release

The Vivo XL was announced alongside the Vivo 5 in early January of 2016. It is currently available in Liquid Gold, Chrome Silver, Midnight Blue and Rose Gold.

Features

Blu announced that the Vivo XL and 5 would be focused on design and user experience, saying they are the "most advanced and stunning" smartphones they have released at that price point. The models are also the brand's first phones to have a full-metal chassis.

The Vivo XL boasts a slim frame at 7.5 mm (0.30 in), making it one of the thinnest smartphones produced. It comes with a 5.5 in (140 mm) Gorilla Glass screen, similar to that of the IPhone 6S Plus. The standard Micro-USB port used for Androids was swapped for the reversible, more efficient USB Type-C port.

Camera performance saw many enhancements from previous Blu models, such as Magic Focus, Ultra Pixel, and Smart Scene. Along with the Vivo 5, they feature a 13MP rear camera (f2.0 aperture, sapphire blue lenses, PDAF) and a 5MP wide-angle front camera.

The Vivo XL comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop, but
