ConneXion (IIM Ahmedabad)
The first ConneXion event was launched by the PGPX Batch of 2010. The need was felt by the batch to establish a networking platform to enhance the interaction of the incumbent batch with alumni, industry and faculty of IIMA.
Since the PGPX programme batches did not have any overlap with their shoulder batches, it was decided that to kick start this initiative, a pan PGPX conclave should be organised where-in all the passed out batches and the incumbent batch could meet. The PGPX batch of 2010 was the fourth batch with a student strength of 80. Of the 200 alumni from the first, second and third batches around 80 attended the Pan PGPX conclave held from 8th - 10th January. [1]

The event was innaugurated by the Director of the Institute Prof. Barua and he was accompanied by all the Chairpersons of PGPX Batches since inception i.e Prof. G. Raghuram, Prof. Arivind Sahay and Prof. Shailesh Gandhi.

The formal inauguration was followed with an informal networking dinner along with cultural performances.
